Ex-THE GATHERING Singer's AGUA DE ANNIQUE To Support SMASHING PUMPKINS In Holland

AGUA DE ANNIQUE — the new band fronted by ex-THE GATHERING singer Anneke van Giersbergen — will open for Chicago's alternative rock veterans SMASHING PUMPKINS on February 18 at Brabanthallen in Den Bosch, Holland.

Greece's Metalzone.gr recently posted a 26-minute interview with Anneke van Giersbergen. Anneke talks about her departure from THE GATHERING, her new project, her touring plans, her part-time stint as a vocal teacher and she also reveals that she would gladly take part in a THE GATHERING reunion, not only for a tour but also for a new album.
